High speed motion control

Electronic cam control (motion control) enables transfer, positioning, welding, assembly, machining, and inspection at ultra-high speeds with cycle times as fast as 100 ms.

The equipment of Hi-Mecha Co., Ltd. is based on the equipment configuration and operation design that makes full use of the "cam and link mechanism" with inverter motor as the power source.
Our stable devices with mechanically configured "cam and link mechanisms" that enable complex movements and synchronization of multiple movements have been highly evaluated by many customers.
On the other hand, the control technology of "motion controllers" by motor and control equipment manufacturers has been advancing dramatically.
A motion controller is a control system that can simultaneously control multiple servo motors at high speed and with precision, allowing the servo motors to function as a single cam (electronic cam).
By adopting this "motion controller" control and directly connecting servomotors to the moving parts of each unit, higher speed operation is possible.
As an example of our track record, our LED test taping systemachieves transport, positioning, and inspection in a cycle time of 100ms at the fastest.
We are proud of the fact that this achievement was made possible by Hi-Mecha Corporation, which has specialists in each process: control designers who are familiar with the latest motion controller technology, mechanical designers who are familiar with the cam and link mechanism, and assembly engineers who have extensive experience in equipment adjustment.
